Picture gets to the art of the city

Diploma of Graphic Design student, Odin Lowsley, recognised for creative, unique artwork

22 Aug 2017

The Gold Coast is more than surf, sand and Meter Maids — that’s the maxim that scored Odin Lowsley the TAFE Queensland Diploma of Graphic Design ‘What the Gold Coast Means to Me’ Award. “I incorporated everything that makes the Gold Coast iconic — lifeguards, skyscrapers, the tram and beach. That’s what we’re famous for,” Odin said. He will have his colourful, modern artwork featured on a city wall and in the Gold Coast Bulletin. “This is my greatest achievement and to think that people will see it on a wall is crazy.”
